Online Learning Survey

March 16, 2020

One of the most important steps of online teaching is conducting a needs analysis of our students’ access to technology and specific situations that could affect online learning. When creating College-wide online programs, this needs analysis can take semesters or years before we get the right knowledge that will inform the creation of a program.

Margaret Strair, Instructor of German at º£½ÇÉçÇø college, created this online learning survey for her students in order to gather information that will help plan her course. The questionnaire can be used as-is or can be modified depending on the specific needs or questions of different departments/courses.

Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies, Sara Grossman also created this questionnaire which instructors can use as a model to gain student Information for remote access.

We encourage instructors to explore both surveys and to use a combination of questions that is right for their class and students.
