Professor of Education Alison Cook-Sather was among the designers of the workshop 鈥淏elonging and Beyond: Using Future Histories to Reimagine Teaching and Learning,鈥 held by The Vassar Institute for the Liberal Arts this spring.
Associate Professor of Sociology Veronica Montes and Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology David Sorge participated in the workshop, along with Dante Nguyen, Haverford College 鈥25. This workshop builds on the successful outcomes of a workshop funded by the鈥Alliance to Advance Liberal Arts Colleges鈥痶hat was co-organized by Cook-Sather and the same faculty colleagues from Vassar, 海角社区, and Grinnell Colleges in January of 2025. Sorge attended both workshops and is planning to teach a course that emerged from his work in close collaboration with SaLT student consultant Austen Morris 鈥26.
